ATLAS Retired 1997 A Cairn Studio, artwork of Tom Clark's Gnome collection. It should be obvious that for this sports-loving Woodspirit, baseball is his whole world. To tease his friends Homer and Ty, he posing as Atlas of Greek mythology, who was forced to hold the heavens on his shoulders. His coin reads "Games" because the only thing that Atlas likes better than one baseball game is a double-header, and his coin is good for a free ice cream cone at the ballpark. Just like the song "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" says, Atlas has some peanuts and Crackerjacks. Look at the front of the statue and you'll see that Atlas, the good sportsman always goes to bat for his friends. This is edition # 94, item # 5113, dated 1990. The Gnome measures 8 1/2" tall 4" in the diameter at the base. It is in excellent condition and comes from a store that is no longer carrying a display of Gnomes. Also there is no Certificate of Authenticity for Cairn Studio Ltd.
